"Embers of Change" is a sculptural mixed media encaustic monoprint. The artwork is part of the series “Love Letters to the Pacific Northwest.” The three-dimensional center piece is composed of encaustic covered photographs of a burned tree dipped in colored encaustic wax. The wax-dipped photographs have been hand-stitched to the monoprinted archival paper. 10 x 10 in. on 12 x 12 in. paper; framed: 19 3/4 x 19 3/4 in. x 1 3/4 in. extra deep black frame.
